Growing our Team: Welcome Our New Employees!

At Libertana, we are always looking for talented, passionate people – from nurses to social workers to therapists to aides – who can help us make a difference where it matters most, to our patients and their families. Despite the hardships of the last couple of years, our team has managed to grow as we’ve made new additions to our team. Please join us in welcoming some of our newest staff members:

Libertana’s Mission is to provide our patients and clients with quality care in the comfort of their own home. In alignment with that mission, Aaron holds licenses as both a Skilled Nursing Administrator and Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly (RCFE) Director as well as a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Yeshiva University, Sy Syms School of Business.

Aaron’s passion for helping others drove him to serve as an Administrator in Skilled Nursing and Home Care for over 10 years. His expertise includes: Health Survey Prep, P&L Responsibility, A/R, Business Development, Project Management and Recruiting.

Here at Libertana, he plays a major role in pushing the company forward and helping to grow our team, all while providing exceptional service to the patients we serve.

When Aaron is not in the office, he can be found training or competing in Tough Mudder & Spartan races, or coaching and playing sports with his three children.

Ellada Shigin, Director of Nursing
Karine Artin, Regional Director of Compliance

Ellada has been a Registered Nurse for more than 17 years. She completed her nursing training at West Coast University.

Her passion for helping others was what led her to pursue a career in nursing. In previous roles, she worked with geriatrics and Sub-acute patients. Her expertise as a clinical supervisor has enabled her to impart her wisdom upon others. She is an amazing educator for our staff and pushes them to provide the best quality of care possible. We’re very lucky to have her!

On a daily basis, she helps our amazing team of nurses provide top of the line services to our patients.

Outside of the office, she can be found hiking with her two dogs, tending her Bonsai trees, and spending time with her family.

In alignment with Libertana’s goals, Karine Artin has been passionate about using her skills throughout her career as an Administrator and Executive Director to improve business operations. For over 17 years she has dedicated herself to helping others. She received both her Bachelors in Gerontology and Masters in Social Work from USC. Since then she has been dedicated towards improving business operations in the Home Care Industry to better serve the community at large.

Her passion for Home Health has enabled us to expand our reach and improve our services. Despite the role not being client facing, her invaluable work is directly translated in our ability to better serve our clients.

Here at Libertana Karine is the Regional Director of Compliance and is responsible for licenses, surveys, and compliance. She is amazing and does a bit of everything.

When not in the office, Karine enjoys playing piano, singing, and spending time with her family. She also enjoys volunteering with at-risk youths at AGBU and volunteering with the unhoused at Los Angeles Mission Homeless.
